The Team:
The SPGI Ratings Asset Management team has process oversight, governance and execution management of the CMDB/Asset Management framework within the division. As in the other CMDB role responsibilities in the region have increased, support required for app on/off boarding, managing application lifecycle, 70+ dashboards for compliance and data accuracy, number of applications on boarded has doubled in last 2 years. Coordinating to retire/remediate End of Life servers from Ratings environment, CMDB Data Certification, Managing servers/databases/FAAS/CAAS etc, Cloud tagging, CMDB related enhancements, Reports, SNOW CMDB & ADO integration etc.
The Impact:
This role is critical to the management of IT asset inventory and track asset movements, ensuring accurate and timely updates. The Asset management Process Lead will have the responsibility for administering the CMDB process within the organization, working closely with other process leads and to ensure that Asset specific information can be gathered and disseminated using efficient and consistently followed processes

Responsibilities:
- Manage IT asset inventory and track asset movements, ensuring accurate and timely updates. The Asset management lead will administer, manage and carry out all aspects of the CMDB process.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and best practices, providing guidance and support to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for asset acquisition, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor asset performance and provide recommendations for improvements, conducting regular assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of assets, ensuring transparency and accountability across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate asset management processes with other ITIL practices.
- Ensure proper disposal of obsolete or surplus assets in accordance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze asset data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Regularly update and report on asset management metrics to senior management.
- Regulators expect Ratings Technology to manage all ICT assets supporting the ratings business.
- To support ITSM process, the Regulators expect comprehensive dependencies captured in asset mgt system
- Business functions supported by the assets
- Business application dependencies on technical services
- Business application dependencies on upstream business applications.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of relevant Asset Management experience with key principles, methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, technology-related field or communications field.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English
- Accountable, detailed oriented, hard-working, organized and responsive

- Strong team player with the ability to easily collaborate
- Experience with industry leading packages including ServiceNow
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office collaboration tools including SharePoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical acumen and understanding of application and infrastructure technologies including Cloud, network, storage, application development and DevOps
- Understand and have been a member of a Scrum Team
- Experience with creating and generating complex ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
